Friends of the Children Austin was successfully launched in 2017 because of the long-term commitment made by our seed funders. Our ability to scale this program and deliver a Friend to every child in Austin who needs one is directly tied to our ability to grow our supporter base.

We continue to build a new cohort of individuals and families committing to support Friends Austin through three-to-five-year pledges. We know that by implementing a proven, scalable, evidence-based model, we can change the lives of vulnerable youth in our city, thereby permanently changing the landscape of generational poverty in Austin.
