During this season of celebration and joy, we are happy to wrap up the year reflecting on significant achievements and looking at ways we can make an even greater impact in the Austin community.

A Look Back: We are very grateful to serve 135 youth, ranging in ages from four to eleven years old. This fall, we were thrilled to honor our 5th birthday. What an awesome accomplishment to serve local families for five years! We've also expanded our team with the addition of many new staff members, and we’ve grown our physical space to include a second Clubhouse devoted to our older youth.

A Look Ahead – Together! We invite you to join us in our continued commitment to changing the lives of our children experiencing the most vulnerabilities.

Our youth are met with several tremendous challenges at no fault of their own. These kids face such obstacles as systemic poverty, foster care, structural racism, trauma, violence, hunger, and homelessness. We are honored to provide our youth with a Friend they can count on.

Friends Austin pairs a child with a professional, salaried, full-time mentor, called a “Friend,” from pre-k through high school graduation—12+ years, no matter what.
