2021 Gingerbread Dreamhouses

The third annual Gingerbread Dreamhouses brought together a group of friends to Friends Austin for a magical evening to raise vital support for our life-changing program. Guests enjoyed viewing exquisite, custom gingerbread houses, which were dreamed-up by local designers and built by talented pastry chefs, within the theme of "Favorite Holiday Escape." The gingerbread houses were auctioned off as part of our fundraiser. The festive party included delicious food and drinks, holiday carols from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Upper School Choir, our Executive Director Nancy Pollard spoke and guests had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and contribute towards the transformative work of Friends Austin. In advance of the event, Austinites had the chance to preview the gingerbread houses at ByGeorge. Collectively, our generous corporate sponsors and individuals gave more than $115,000.
