Staff: Treasure Thomas

Treasure is a true Austinite, born and raised in South Austin, Texas, with a profound affection for her city and its vibrant community. Her desire to help others blossomed in her childhood, growing up in a close-knit “village” where everyone looked out for one another. This sense of community has guided her career, beginning as an Assistant Site Coordinator for the ACE Afterschool Program, where she engaged children in enrichment and academic activities. Transitioning into the business side of things, she focused on improving services for the youth in the program. With over 13 years as an administrative and finance professional, Treasure has expertly supported executive leadership and enhanced organizational operations within the Austin ISD Department of Community Education and, more recently, the Manor ISD Athletics and Fine Arts Department. At Manor ISD, she played a pivotal role in founding W.I.S.E (Women Supporting Student Excellence), a group dedicated to mentoring and guiding students facing challenges. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration at Walden University, with graduation expected in 2025, Treasure also earned her Associate of Business Administration from Austin Community College. In her spare time, she loves to relax and recharge and participate in activities with her husband and two daughters. Additionally, she is an active member and volunteer with the Black Mama’s Village, which provides valuable resources to mothers in the Austin area and beyond.
