Staff: Travion Walker

Travion grew up in Austin, TX as the oldest of five children. Growing up in a single-parent household, times were often difficult. The hard work, resilience, and love that his mother displayed was a great encouragement. The church community he had as a child encouraged him to look at his circumstances and challenges through the framework of positivity and gratitude.

Travion’s journey and passion for working with kids started in the summer of 2019, as a counselor at a faith-based athletic camp called Camp Gladiator Victory (CGV). He spent the next four years working for CGV as he pursued his Bachelor’s in Business Human Resource Management. After graduating from Concordia University TX in 2022, he spent the next year and a half as an elementary teacher working for Austin ISD.

Outside of work, Travion enjoys spending time making music, playing sports, and helping lead the youth ministry at his church, Victory City, in Pflugerville, TX. Travion strives to be a positive voice, influence, and light in the lives of others!
