Staff: Michael Sanchez

Michael Sanchez is a passionate and people-centered leader from the DFW area with over 10 years of experience in youth development, education, and nonprofit work. He’s held leadership roles at places like the YMCA and Crème de la Crème Preschools, where he focused on building strong teams, supporting families, and creating programs that truly put kids first.

Michael leads with empathy, authenticity, and a deep belief in the power of relationships. He’s all about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered, whether it’s staff, families, or the youth he serves.

He’s excited to bring his heart and experience to Friends of the Children Austin and to be part of a mission that shows up for kids in a real and lasting way.
