Staff: Juan Casanova

Juan, an East Austin native, graduated from Concordia University Texas with a BA in Multiple Studies in Education and Kinesiology. He and his wife have one child, and they are a soccer family. His background is primarily in middle school, working in special education classrooms and at a behavioral intervention program. Prior to joining Friends Austin, he was a teacher at KIPP Austin Academy for 6 years and coached boys' soccer for 10 years. He always finds ways to be part of and give back to the community he grew up in.
