Emma Boydston

Program and Operations Specialist

Emma has always had a love for helping underserved communities. After graduating from Furman University in South Carolina with a BA in Music, her varied career has included roles in elementary education, music therapy, church music, children’s programming, and nonprofit administration. She has led adult and children’s choirs, taught voice and piano lessons, music therapy classes for adults with disabilities, and computing skills to senior citizens.

Emma’s passion is connecting families and children to impactful resources and managing quality programs that make a difference in their lives. She organized a day camp for children every summer for seven years, as well as Fall Festivals, Parents Night Outs, Christmas programs, and more. When the pandemic hit, she collaborated with her local elementary school to create a virtual learning camp for children to continue their schooling in a safe and supportive environment.

She loves spending time outdoors with her husband and young son, renewing overdue books at the Austin Public Library, and growing vegetables in her garden.
