Staff: Anders Allison

Anders is a native Texan originally from Ft Worth who graduated from The Military College of South Carolina with a BA in Political Science. He moved to Austin with his husband to start their mixed family in a place where diversity is a welcomed part of the city's culture. His background is in preschool and elementary education primarily in ESL and Special Education classrooms. Through volunteer translating and youth program leadership, he discovered a passion for helping others, especially in mentoring little ones. Most recently, he ran a grant funded program to provide vocational rehabilitation services and independent living skills for adults with disabilities. He is excited to be a part of a nonprofit that provides great opportunities for young people to grow and thrive.
