Staff: Andrea Arca

Andrea, a native of Houston, graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and discovered her passion for softball early on, eventually playing at the collegiate level. This experience instilled in her the values of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership, which she applies daily in her role as a Professional Mentor. With a career spanning several Austin-based non-profits, Andrea has been a passionate advocate for at-risk youth and families. Her commitment to empowering vulnerable youth and ensuring they achieve their fullest potential defines her work at Friends Austin, where she hopes to make a profound and lasting impact in the lives of those she mentors.
