Joy Hirsch brings a background in the arts along with years of hands-on experience supporting families and children through involvement in local initiatives. As a mother, she has gained valuable insight into the importance of access, encouragement, and opportunity for every child. She is passionate about helping underserved youth thrive and looks forward to supporting the organization's mission through creativity, empathy, and meaningful connection.
Prior to focusing on raising her family, Joy built a career in creative communications, marketing and photography - where she most recently has been freelancing. Before that, Joy spent several years at Alvarez & Marsal, where she worked in marketing and graphic design, developing communications and branding initiatives for a global professional services firm. Earlier in her career, she spent time at Life.com as well as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, experiences that strengthened her appreciation for education, the arts, and community engagement.
