John Robert ("JR") Reed is a Partner and CMO at Multicoin Capital, where he leads global marketing and communications. He has spent nearly 20 years in service of venture capital, specializing in go-to-market strategy, public relations, branding, and early-stage commercialization. Before joining Multicoin, he was a Senior Director at Jones-Dilworth, Inc., a boutique PR consultancy focused on frontier science and deep tech. He has also served as an advisor to SXSW and a mentor at Capital Factory and Techstars. JR holds a degree in Communications and Business Foundations from the University of Texas at Austin.
