Bettina Barrow is an Austin-based film and television producer and the founder of Banger Pictures, an independent production company focused on bold, character-driven storytelling. Her work has premiered at Sundance and Tribeca, including the feature Downtown Owl (Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions, now on Netflix) and Sister Aimee (Sundance 2019, 1091 Media). Her short film Maude debuted at Sundance, sold to multiple distributors, and won an Amazon audience award.
Bettina has developed a television series with HBO alongside collaborators Samantha Buck and Marie Schlingmann, with whom she is currently developing two feature films. She is also launching the comedy podcast "Appalled" with Elizabeth Reaser. A Sundance, Film Independent, Rotterdam, Cannes, and TIFF Fellow, Bettina began her career as an entertainment and employment attorney in Los Angeles before transitioning to producing. She holds degrees from Princeton University and UCLA School of Law.
