Staff: Kelly Wisniewski

Kelly was born and raised in Texas. She grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos. After college, she began her career in Austin, spent several years in Dallas, and eventually found her way back home.

Austin has always had her heart. She loves the people, creativity, and spirit of community.

Kelly’s career has always centered on children, young people, and families. She started in afterschool programs and mentoring, became a child advocate for children in foster care, and later worked in charitable giving before moving into nonprofit development. Through it all, she has believed that people are more than the challenges they face and deserve to be seen for their strengths and potential.

Kelly earned a degree in Geography and History from Texas State University and is a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Educator, with expertise in trauma-informed care.

When she’s not working, Kelly loves being outside, especially on early morning walks with her dogs, catching a Texas sunset, or listening to live music under the open sky. She also enjoys reading with a cat in her lap, baking, gardening, and spending time with all of her rescued pets.
